I'll never forget the sound of my mom saying 'oh no, oh no' over and over on the phone when I told her about my diagnosis.

I feel paranoid about all the things that could have caused my cancer. Was anything in my control?

What a wonderful site! I wish there was a support space when I was on my journey so many years ago. I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on May 8, 1979. I was 26 years old and was married 7 months. Positive attitude is primary!!

I wish I'd told more people.
